and his kids!

It all started quite a while ago, at Star City. Atrocity had collected another Xeno, a female this time, who he hoped would pair up with Ecothet eventually. Ecothet wasn't sure about it, because she was so very young, and fairly small to start.

But the problem began when he was chased away from Star City. He was just too troublesome, too dangerous, and enjoyed tormenting random people until they bolted away. The time he started chasing one, was the last time.

So, booted from the rather cushy life of a 'maybe I'll bond, maybe I'll just sit around and watch' candidate, Atrocity and his brood of dragon-things had to find a place to stay that wouldn't actively chase them away for a while.

He found it. Now, will he regret it?

Atrocity looked at the weird egg, and wondered. Where had it come from? What was it doing here at his temporary digs in the (shhhh don't tell) bowels of the Healing Den?

His hyhathian drakon Ecothet nudged it with one nose, and hissed at it with another.

"That is one of her eggs, isn't it?" Atrocity said, and then noticed another, and another... and another.

They were everywhere. The dank room where Ecothet and Atrocity, along with their assorted Xenomorphic offspring and hangers-on, lived was going to be cramped. He knew it... Especially when he got the host bodies for the little brats. He knew they had to burst out of something, preferably humanoid.

"Well there are all kinds of humanoids wherever the Nexus leads, right?" Atrocity said brightly when he thought of that. Several dragon heads looked up at him - all from Ecothet - and went back to gnawing on a herdbeast's bones. "So I'll be back. I suppose I should count them first..."

It was a bigger total than he expected. So what Atrocity wound up doing was herding up a few people here, a few there, and waited. He was not certain that the gender or true species of the host mattered much toward the gender of the hatchling, but he tried to make it balanced. Okay, there was a dog or - something - here and there, when he was hard pressed to come up with a good host quickly and get away without being seen.

The eggs' mother - Andressaa - was nowhere to be found. Apparently she was off fighting that war she'd briefly spoken about while Atrocity and she was 'making love' (a true misnomer - they were attempting to break into record books for the amount of pain, bloodshed, and orgasms one pair could have in one night together). What if she failed? What if Andressaa died?

Well, she had offspring here, to back her line up. Atrocity looked at the line of people currently held down to the stony walls with a variety of things (leather straps, chains, duct tape, cement, nails...) and watched them squirm. Again he wondered if he'd survive bearing a 'child' with one of these creatures in him... Only time would tell - there were enough damn eggs to find out after all...
