Ziggith, light blue brother of Zaggith. The brothers patrol the halls of the lowest areas as well as the exterior openings, for any dangers. Any creatures or invaders they find are not going to have an easy time getting away! These two are very quick.

Zaggith, dark blue brother of Ziggith. Zaggith is the more snippy of the pair, but is usually sullen. They could use a friend to help them patrol the halls...

The pair of Blackstone dragons sulked around the darkest nooks, remaining still while the newcomers and flitters of all descriptions went by. They were often ignored. The halls were quite frequently empty, and they considered those halls their private domain. Neither of them had tried going to a mating flight, nor trying to re-bond in their many years without a rider.

Look here, at this... Zaggith said.

What is it? Ziggith groaned. It's probably another wad of gum. You are always getting stuck on that stuff.

I cannot help it if the prior owners of this place were horrible housekeepers. It isn't gum. It's a map.

Ziggith looked down at the scrap of paper that Zaggith pointed out. The dark blue picked it up, and examined it. He was not a very tiny dragon like Sixth, but the healer's dragon had taught many of the local unbonded population how to read - his connection to Kalkin gave him some interesting abilities.

It is a dragon hatchery, Zaggith said. We could go there. I'm bored.

I am bored too, but we will be missed. Ziggith said, looking up and down the corridor. It was early evening, but the only reason they knew that was because the smell of burnt meat came to their nostrils and both dragons hated cooked food.

We should go hunting and then go to this place. I want to see it.

I ... I do too. Let's go.

After a few days pacing around at the Dragon Haven, the twin dragons were at last admitted into the hatching sands area. There, they saw a number of gleaming eggs - all shaking and ready to hatch!

I cannot believe we're here, will Baeris let us in again? Ziggith hemmed and hawed.

She will only want to know where the eggs came from, Zig, Zaggith assured his brother. Then, they were both greatly pleased to see two of the eggs there were cracking.

With astonished looks on their long muzzles, Zig and Zag cooed like hatchlings themselves, when a pair of purple young dragons came bursting out of their shells! One was a very vivid color, while the other hardly had any color to his skin at all!

This one's like you, and that one's like me! Zaggith said. I vote we name the dark one Viv, and the light one Etiol.

What does Etiol mean? Ziggith asked, picking up the light colored one, it sounds strange.

It's just a word for lightness, Zaggith said, curling his tail around the dark Viv.

Then Etiol and Viv they are, Ziggith rumbled. I wonder how big they're going to get?

They would find out soon enough!

Here is Etiol, the albino Purple! And this is Viv, the Purple!
