The assorted other inhabitants of Melolong provide one another with entertainment, busywork, magic studies, and even a bit of conflict. Not every one of the pack gets along with everyone else! Though they are highly intelligent, they are still apt to fall into dominant and submissive roles. The Caretakers are largely seen as the top of the chain, Meneia the Alpha. She has no current true mate, no true Alpha male, but perhaps there will be one in the future. She's a bit picky.

Until then, there are no restrictions on who breeds other than whether they are appropriate to one another! Soon, someday soon, there will be pups demanding attention here!

After the wolf frenzy at Alair Wolfkeep, however, the Pack has grown! When still young, those who had the talent or magic for it, were urged (at both Allain and Meneia's bidding) to train more fully with the Mages at Treval. Allain had experience with them more recently than Meneia had, but both are comfortable teaching now - perhaps new pups won't have to go off world, but they will certainly be tested to the limits of their abilities if they do!
