Allain Galann hadn't been there for the Frenzy at Alair Wolfkeep, so he didn't know or understand why the Melolong Wolfkeep was all but deserted when he arrived. Someone finally got word to him: they're all offworld. Well. Fine. The spellweaver climbed to a flat topped rock and began scrying for them in the clouds. Where exactly was this wolfkeep? Allain hadn't come from there, it was Treval that he was familiar with. But he saw a distinct shape in the clouds and tuned his mind into that image. Then he began pacing, putting his paws and wingtips, tail, ears and nose into the right positions to cast a travel spell. For him, that spell made him look like he was a posing gargoyle, about to take off. What better way to cast it? From Planet Twenty he lept, vanishing off the rock apparently into thin air. He arrived at Alair in mid-air, where he preferred to, and spread his wings the rest of the way in order to glide down to the ground. His arrival didn't really cause a stir per se, but some of the natives and the visitors nearby were a bit startled to see a fully adult male show up - and no one knew who he was. He introduced himself cordially, as he was taught, to the local leadership and explained that his current residence was a bit bare. Eeita and Hyrish were piqued to learn he was sniffing out a den in their own Planet Twenty! Eeita was a bit miffed then, to learn that he too had more magic about him than most. He fairly reeked of it, while her own ability wasn't anything to laugh at the uppity female would rather have had a pack member be lesser of ability than she... But he was a handsome wolf, dappled browns and cream, with an adorable upsweep to his head fur. He looked too cute to be so serious. Meneia on the other hand welcomed him with every bit of cordiality one might expect of a queen, and Allain bowed politely back. It was either the start of an auspicious relationship or one which might destroy everything around it... No one was sure. Meneia's wind magic was specific. Allain's was broad and varied - and just as strong. He sniffed at the air and barked once. "You bring spring on the winds, my lady, the dragons at Planet Twenty will surely enjoy your company when you come back again." Eeita and Hyrish made gagging expressions at one another. So it would be that kind of relationship would it? Well they both were a bit busy to care too deeply at the time. The pups were calling again, and so many to take care of! Meneia had seven, and Eeita six, while Hyrish had sired six more. He was the more harried of the trio, his mate was picky about what the pups were fed and when - and usually at some unusual hour of the day she'd insist on getting her own exersize in and left him in charge of the half dozen overactive pups... "I am glad that I came then, won't it be good to have them under the sun at Planet Twenty? They'll have so much room to grow - look at how they want to fly, yours are all but off the ground already, Meneia." Allain said, and it was true. They'd all be strong mages, too, or natural with their T-power as was the way with the Alskyrans. So Allain volunteered to help bring home the pups when they were ready - he noted strong and weak alike in their magics. The group of pups that he'd been selected to help out were varied and from different pairings, it would hardly do to have too many related members of this first pack's generation at Planet Twenty! |
