Gusher - Bonded Purple Zappy Saneecen (f) at the Glitz and Glitter Frenzy

Age: 16

Male, prefers men.

Location in Mall: Gusher supplies the water to the Mall, and as such he, like Gasman, has contacts outside the Mall. He actually lives in a comic store which specialized in Manga, so his tastes in both clothing and his partners is a little... off.

Gusher is quiet, and usually sensible when he's talking or working with other people. He's had his hair dyed blue and he often wears silly "sailor" suits. No one really understands why he would do this, but it's a matter of his surroundings. When he was dropped off at the Mall, his parents left no instructions and no forwarding address. Maybe he was weird from the start.

As far as his job goes, he enjoys it greatly because it gives him power over people and they don't even really know it. He wouldn't do anything bad to them, not really... But if worse came to worse he'd be happy to flood the creepies out of the lower areas, and he'd certainly be able to cut off water supply to specific buildings or portions of the Mall should it become necessary to wait out an enemy.

His ideals of fashion and behavior privately however are quite odd, and he's never really seen in company other than when needs arise. He attends meetings, and puts in his two egg's worth, but in the long run, he's really a loner and wanting company - but unwilling or unable to change his personal habits. Dressing up, playing in costumes and pretty much reading way too much odd manga, Gusher isn't really ever going to fit in anywhere.

He'd brought his favorite Hentai book, it was a very rare hard to find Japanese Official Release version and it was like three times as old as Gusher. He took care of it like it was a baby. But he also read it ravenously, relishing the parts where the heroine would have to fight her way past the tentacle monsters and get into the evil overlord's lair to defeat him with her sizable assets. It wasn't that he wanted to be with the heroine. It was that he wouldn't mind being the heroine.

On the sands at the Glitz frenzy, though, he still had his head in the book and everyone else was watching the dragons break shell. Everyone else therefore noticed the purple zappy female as she came from her egg and hesitated, then headed straight for Gusher.

She sat there, waiting, for a number of seconds and beat her spadeless tail against the sand. At last the purple pushed her nose over the book, standing on her hard-nailed tippy-toes and pushing her ears back.

"Careful! That's a first edition!" Gusher said, and then shortly saw the adoring violet-black eyes looking right into his. "Saneecen?" He asked, and put the comic back into its plastic sheet cover.

That is my name. You know me. I am yours!

Gusher couldn't hold back his tears. This was like a dream come true - he would fly with a beautiful dragon, he could already feel her emotions and needs. She needed food, and later she would need a mate when she was grown. Gusher stood up and sai proudly, "she says her name is Saneecen and she says she is mine!"

So happy was he that he almost left his comic on the sands, but he rushed back out to get it, as Saneecen was eating her first meal.

It was with a bit of hesitation that Gusher watched the males and their dragons, because he knew they weren't like him. Most others at the Mall had found a dragon that was the same gender as they were, but a couple were like him.

You are not happy you found me?

"No, that's not it, I just ... don't want you to be lonely, and I don't know of any of the guys here who will be happy with me."

Just because you like those comic books, Saneecen nudged his elbow and before Gusher could reply she said, I am joking! Anyone will like you, my friend, but only I truly love you.

That seemed to be the perfect thing to say. He hugged her and promised her that some day soon she'd be able to fly for a mate, and have a better group than these (even though they were all pretty stunning) at the Mall to choose from.
