Some years ago, there was a mysterious package delivered to Raanatani's home and Ferilon Farm. It contained a baby ferilon, one which she immediately saw had been bred for show - but someone didn't want him. She named him D'arby and kept watch on his progress. His genetics are more complicated than they first appear, which is why Tani has hesitated to put him up for breeding until now. Finding the right mate will prove challenging, but she knows the results will be worth it. D'arby is strongly attached to Tani and often follows her through the house and yards, strutting about. He flies, but prefers to walk with his wings held high instead. He's prideful and knows that he is pretty, but he is also fiercely protective of 'his' space in the house.
