Healing Den Staff, Resident Dragon Riders

Living in the Healing Den are a large number of full-time staff members who keep the place clean and in running condition, riders whose job it is to scout out locales and people, and dragons bonded to them that come from far and wide - or right here on the Sands.

Some people from the Kshau Protectorate live here only part time, supplying construction needs or engineering feats. Any riders and workers are quite welcome in the Healing Den, and there is more than adequate housing if they are needed on a short term basis. Those marked with an * are ones which originated elsewhere and have moved permanently to the Healing Den (from now-defunct sites).

A number of other Alabaster-based riders and engineers often visit to keep up on Nexus dwellers and their activities. They are usually enlisted to do the odd design work or electronics. The bulk of this group rode in the Kshau Protectorate wing Screw Loose, a tinker's wing.

Likewise, Blackstone Weyr has always supported the Nexus by offering sheer volume of workmanship and building abilities. These riders tend not to stick around for very long, but when any large building process is done (such as for a large flight) they are there in force. All of these riders and their dragons are part of the Uplifted Spirits wing of the Kshau Protectorate.

Generally speaking, the last group of people who are often found wandering the halls of the Healing Den are search riders and transporters of both goods and people. Star-faring navigators and mapmakers, and recordskeepers, they come from everywhere, any time, and ride nearly any kind of dragon.

Of course, anyone is usually welcome in the Healing Den. No fighting wings exist within the Den's ranks, for there is no need. It may be the destination for injured dragons and riders, if they so wish. The Healers at the Den are always up on the most advanced techniques for dragon as well as human (or near-human) needs.
