As the sky darkens, you look up and wonder, did Egyptans really make all those clouds? You have to guess that the answer is yes, because there is a pack of them flying around each other like a living whirlwind, near the clouds themselves.
As you walk along, the sun is obscured by the big clouds, but it is not really cold or chilly. Just cloudy, and that's all right.
Then suddenly two of the Egyptans break from their flight and start dive bombing toward you!
You run, frantic for a place to hide, but there is nothing except an Egyptan's burrow - and you don't want to jump in there, it might belong to one of them!
"Get away from there!" Chirps the female, "that's my den!" Ah-hah! You were right, it was their burrow - no wonder they're angry!
"I'm sorry! I'm just taking a tour!" you yell, arms covering your head as you run. "I didn't mean to come near your nest!"
Their cries and barks slow down, and finally stop, and you take long, panting breaths. "I'm sorry..." You breathe, and the female comes to your side.
"No, I ought to be saying that. We are very protective of our cubs, and this territory is contested by other Egyptans. This is not the only tribe living on these lands."
"Oh? What do you mean?" You ask, curious.
"Well do you see the big storm clouds in the distance? Those are a neighboring tribe's, and they keep nosing in on our burrows. I think they want to be first in the tour, before us, but I don't want to move my burrow into their lands. It's dark and chilly there..."
"I'm sorry. That's kind of rude of them, huh?"
"I think so. You seem like a nice person. I'm afraid I've gotten you all mussed up."
"It's okay. It's understandable. If I had cubs, I'd be territorial too."
"Our cubs are precious, they are Dark Cloud cubs like me."
Dark Cloud Egyptans are quick to ire, and they need constant attention. They are quite demanding. However they do enjoy a nice sunset or sunrise image nearby. They aren't good with many other creatures, so keep them apart if you can.

If you cannot join for some reason, you must email Viridia with your information and she will arrange something. Otherwise, Viridia will never know where the cubs have gone!
