Climbing over the dunes has left you weak and you decide to head toward a wide flat stone. The dunes stretch for what seems like forever, you can't even see the other parts of the Preserve any longer and you worry that you might have gotten lost.
At least you can still see a couple burrow entrances near you, so you know you can't be off the path that far. But where are you now, and what's with this stone?! It's so hot to the touch, with the sun beating down on it it's no wonder!
"You are ill suited for this stone, visitor," a bemused voice calls to you.
A pure yellow Egyptan female approaches you, and she sits next to you with her wing held up to block some sun for you.
"Thanks... I needed the shade. You're... really beautiful!"
The Egyptan tilts her head and seems to grin, "why thank you Visitor, you're very kind. I am a Sun Egyptan. We're always out and about on hot days like this, but we also like cheering up folks."
"Well you've certainly cheered me up!" You tell her. She stands up and shakes some sand from her fur.
"If you wish to see my litter of cubs, perhaps one of them will appeal to you? They are all quite healthy."
"Well," you look around, "I'll take a look and I might come back, I was taking a tour of the Preserve."
"That is a good idea. Make your choices wisely." She flutters her wings and walks down along the shaded side of the stone. "Come, if you wish to see them. They're sleeping just now but they'll wake up when they see you."
Smiling, unable to refuse the beautiful Egyptan, you enter the stony den. There are four cubs, all of them as bright as their mother, and all of them suddenly perk up when you enter.
"Can we keep it?" One yips, loudly, while the other three bark and wag their many tails at you.
The mother chuckles and places her paw on its shoulder. "Now now, you must be patient."
"I'm no good at that!" The cub cries out, and bounces around happily.
"I'm really impressed with your cubs... Excited and all." You tell the mother.
"If you do decide to take care of one of them, you'll need to know a few things first."
Sun Egyptans love bright pages, and are very happy creatures. They should never be put on moody-broody pages with sad things, they always try to cheer others up. They don't mind others on their pages, but the other pets should be happy and able to 'keep up' with the Sun Egyptan.

If you wish to get the Teen and Adult stages of this Egyptan, please join the Yahoo Group and place your completed pet's page url in the Bookmarks section. If you cannot join for some reason, you must email Viridia with your information and she will arrange something. Otherwise, Viridia will never know where the cubs have gone!

"I hope that you enjoyed your stay with us. There is one other Fire Tribe left before you reach the other parts of the Preserve." The Egyptan mother tells you.
