Welcome to the Healing Den!
A very dark trip followed by the odd sensation of vertigo twists your senses. You aren't sure whether you're moving forward, sideways or back, and in fact, you might be going all three at once.

The dragon who brought you here comes out from the Nexus above a strange barren stone area. Above, and all around, is blackness - not even starlight penetrates the Nexus dark where the Healing Den resides.
That is correct - the Healing Den is within the Nexus, between all worlds, and not resting upon one or another at any given time. The place looks rather spooky right now. Below the flying transport dragon is an expanse of flat, dark stone. Before you, looming as you swoop toward the entrance, is an arch-shaped mass of brown and black - the Healing Den is an asteroid hollowed out, and this is it's parking lot.
Over the large semi-circular entrance way, is a number or a shape lit up in neon. You remember hearing that you can focus on any number or shape you like, and that will take you to the time and date when you're needed at the Den.
Remember that number - because it's the only way to tell when you've been here. The Healing Den exists in all times, and all spaces. Any visitor can get her from any world, by whatever means they have at their disposal. So, you are equally likely to be visiting next to mages, dragon riders, space explorers and psionics, as well as the smattering of "normal folks" who wound up on the Den somehow.
The transport dragon lands softly - no tricks or spinouts, no dangerous flights here. The dragon turns his great mottled brown colored head to you and speaks directly to your mind.
Welcome to the Den. Please enter there, and find Baeris. If you wish to leave, just call for me, I am Mazeru, a permanent resident of the Healing Den.
"But... you don't have a rider!" You exclaim.
I know I do not. But I have a family here none the less. You will find that the dragons, people and ideas here at the Healing Den are a bit less 'traditional' than many places.
"I ... noticed you also have blue wings. Are you a brown or a blue?"
I am both. I am a bi-color dragon. Many of my offspring are bi-colored as well. My mother is gold-green Dulath, Baeris Kshau's bonded dragon. My sire is brown-blue Minicioth, of the departed White River Weyr. It is now a Cathair on Danach, I believe. We take all participants in flights, and we take every possible bonder for the sands. If that disturbs you, perhaps you ought to return to where you started.
"No, no, I'm okay with it. Well, I suppose I'll see you around. Do you know where I might find this Baeris Kshau?"
She is in her office, near the Dune Cavern. You will follow the brown line on the wall to reach it.
As you look in the entrance way, which is wide enough for a large dragon to walk, you see a corridor beyond, which has markings in different colors upon the wall. Each has a small logo for where it leads, and you know you won't get lost. The paint on these walls smells quite fresh.
It is new, we have had a lot of people wandering around here and getting into things that they should not.
You head off, thanking Mazeru for the lift and then you check out the logos on the wall.
Brown
leads to the Hatching Dune Cavern and Baeris' Office.
Green
leads to the Flitter/Gryph Station.
Blue

Black

Red

Violet

Enjoy your stay at the Healing Den, calls out Mazeru's mind.
